We will be there
9th – 10th December
The 2020 Appeal
How will you help?
The Covid-19 pandemic and the cancellation of so many events and activities has severely impacted our income. At the same time, demand for our services has increased as seriously ill children in hospital and shielding at home find themselves more isolated than ever before.
We need to raise £250,000 in 36 hours to fund our virtual services for children over Christmas and beyond so we can be there to spread joy, smiles and laughter.
Life for a seriously ill child is always tough but never more so than at Christmas when families should be together.
This year, many hospitalised children will be too unwell to go home and will spend December confined to their hospital beds and restricted to just one parent visitor –making what should be the happiest time of the year unimaginably hard for them, their parents, siblings and wider family.

We will be there,
but we can’t do it without your help
Funds raised will support our virtual entertainer visits to seriously ill children under the care of our nine hospital and hospice partners.
This digital entertainment has been an invaluable support to children during lockdown and covid restrictions, helping to distract from pain and treatment, enabling them to remain connected to family life and the wider world and most importantly bringing smiles and laughter into their lives.
Our virtual visits have also allowed us to extend our reach to the most isolated and sick children, spreading joy at a time when parents believed that nothing could make their child smile.
