Originally joined Procter & Gamble as a graduate, progressing through a number of commercial roles in the UK and Geneva. Joined Premier Foods and then sold the Hartleys Jam & Jelly business to Hain Celestial joining them as the Managing Director in 2012.
Employing 400 people at the factory just north of Cambridge make the majority of the Jam, Marmalade and Jelly consumed in the UK. Across brands such as Hartleys, Sun Pat, Frank Cooper as well as all the own label for most of the UK retailers.
Originally the business and especially the Hartleys brand got involved with Spread a Smile through an opportunity to work together. I was personally so impressed with the charity and team wanted to do more with them so personally got involved with the team.
Richard Behan, Chief Operating Officer joined CAE Technology Services in July 2004.
Having graduated from university with a business degree, he started his career in IT and sales. With over 20 years technology industry experience, Richard is a co-owner of CAE following a management buyout in 2018. Outside of work, he is kept very much occupied by his family including his two beautiful girls!
Liz is an experienced non executive trustee. She co-chaired Jewish Women’s Aid for five years, stepping down in 2019 after spending 12 years as a trustee.
She currently has a portfolio of part time interests including running a careers advisory consultancy, sitting on mental health panels, working a a trustee of a local choir and a magistrate.
