Richard is Chief Commercial Officer at Vitesse. With more than 20 years of experience in commercial and sales roles spanning the technology and insurance sectors, he oversees commercial operations across the UK, Europe and other international markets. 

Richard joined Vitesse from Verisk where he spent 12 years, most recently as Chief Commercial Officer for Speciality Business Solutions.

He joined IQUW in 2021, collaborated closely with the Head of Specialty to spearhead the development of the firm’s Specialty team and orchestrate the expansion of the syndicate into a diverse multi-line (re)insurer. He became Active Underwriter for IQUW (Syndicate 1856) in February 2022.

With an extensive background spanning over 30 years in the insurance sector, Steven boasts 19 years of invaluable experience at Talbot. During his tenure at Talbot Underwriting, he held pivotal roles including Global Head for Political Violence and War, overseeing underwriting activities for both AIG and Talbot. Additionally, he served as the Head of Overseas offices, leading strategic realignment efforts for operational platforms. His tenure culminated in serving as the interim Active Underwriter for Talbot’s managed syndicate at Lloyd’s. 

Steven is deeply involved in sports, serving as the chairman of the Lloyds Football Club while actively participating in the sport himself.

Phil originally joined Aon in November 2023, where he initially served as the Global Chief Broking Officer for the Transportation and Logistics division. In his current capacity at Aon, he is responsible for developing integrated risk solutions and matching risk with capital in the dynamic transportation and logistics sector. He frequently contributes to industry discussions on emerging risks, such as supply chain disruptions and geopolitical impacts on global trade flows.  

Phil has held several high-level leadership positions. Prior to joining Aon,  he served as  Head of Broking at Ardonagh Specialty.  Before Ardonagh Specialty,  Phil co-founded specialist aviation broker Piiq Risk Partners and served as its CEO.  Prior to that, he spent over 30 years at Willis Towers Watson holding roles such as Global Head of Broking, Chief Broking Officer for Willis GB and CEO of Aerospace.  Phil completed a Directors Programme at the Cranfield Business School in 2014. He also gained a BA ( Hons) from the University of Westminster,  and is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner (CIP) and Associate of the Chartered Institute of Insurance (ACII).

Phil is a veteran in the insurance and reinsurance brokerage industry with a career spanning over three decades. His expertise is primarily focused on specialty broking, risk analytics  and navigating market volatility for global transportation and aerospace clients.

Vinay sits on Apollo’s Board of Directors and is an executive sponsor for sustainability and is Apollo’s Diversity and Inclusion Champion. Vinay also sits on the Board of the Lloyd’s Market Association. With a career spanning two decades in the Lloyd’s market, Vinay brings a wealth of experience from senior leadership roles at some of the industry’s most respected organisations. He is a seasoned leader with expertise across risk management, actuarial science, corporate governance, and sustainability initiatives.

Since joining Lloyd’s market in 2006, he has held key positions within the Corporation of Lloyd’s, and AEGIS London’s and SCOR’s managing agencies. Vinay began his career in investment banking with Merrill Lynch and working within Aviva’s corporate teams before joining Lloyd’s.
