This  Remember A Charity Week (7-13 September), we’re asking our wonderful community to consider leaving a gift to Spread a Smile in their Will to help us continue our vital work.

After looking after the people closest to you, any gift large or small will help ensure we can spread as many smiles as possible to seriously ill children and young people for years to come.

Spread a Smile offers a free Will-writing service through our partner, Farewill, to make it easy for you to write your Will even if you don’t choose to leave a gift to Spread a Smile. It is one of the most meaningful ways to take care of the people who matter most to you and Farewill’s trusted online service will guide you through each step in your own time, using clear, simple language with no complicated legal terminology.

Once family and friends are provided for, many of our supporters choose to leave a small gift in their Will to Spread a Smile. Even a small percentage of what is left can make a meaningful difference to our work.

These gifts help us bring entertainment, laughter and moments of joy to seriously ill children and young people, as well as support their families during challenging times. They help to fund our hospital visits, virtual sessions, family events and the personalised experiences that make our work so special.

March is Free Wills Month, a nationwide initiative where people aged 55 and over are invited to write their Will for free with participating solicitors. Thanks to our partnership with Farewill, the award‑winning probate and Will‑writing experts, we offer every one of our supporters the chance to write or update their Will for free – whatever your age.

Writing a Will is one of the most meaningful ways to take care of the people who matter most to you. Farewill’s trusted online service guides you through each step in your own time, using clear, simple language with no complicated legal terminology. Their team is highly rated and award‑winning, giving you confidence and peace of mind as you make these important decisions.

Your loved ones come first

Your Will ensures that the people closest to you are looked after in the way you intend. That will always be the priority.
